process creates PDF files at run-time, with optional embedded forms, from
text files generated by other applications. The optional Host Automation
feature provides support to check a folder periodically for incoming print
files and invoke the run-time generation and merge process, thus offering
fully unattended processing with minimal or no changes to existing

PricingFORMagic/Windows supports any 32-bit version of Windows. If you are using DOS under Windows, you should generally use the Windows version, not DOS. The Windows version uses the same download file, client, and User's Guide as FORMagic/400. Simply ignore AS/400-based sections and references in the documentation and AS/400 screens which are active in the evaluation version. After purchase, unlimited forms will be activated and AS/400-specific screens will be de-activated. Upgrades: This package can be used to upgrade from any prior release of FORMagic/Windows (32-bit). Many applications provide this capability to allow you to print on custom, pre-printed forms. For Windows applications which cannot print directly to a file, you can easily set up a special Windows printer to do this; it is simply connected to FILE instead of LPT1 or a network printer. The Merge Application Controller lets you specify the file to print and the form to merge, then does the actual printing. Duplexing is supported, along with front and rear forms. You can also specify printer setup commands, for line and column spacing, if you have had to do this manually when using pre-printed forms. Complete solutions, including the FORMagic Merge Application Controller, FORMagic/Windows, and our service to make one average form, are only $665. And, we will provide it all on a trial basis.
