Our Proprietary Products Include:
- FORMagic/400 Forms Overlay Manager: Quickly and easily add electronic forms to any iSeries or AS/400 application using any printer connection type, any non-IPDS printer emulator, almost any HP-compatible PCL 5e laser printer, and any PC package to design forms. Only minor programming changes are required for most applications, and the optional AutoMerge feature even eliminates them! Details and Downloads
- FORMagic/400 Document Integration Server: Same as ACADIS/400 below except no support is provided for AutoCAD DWG files. Details and Downloads
- ACADIS/400 AutoCAD Document Integration Server: Generate and batch print complete, optimized, just-in-time document packages integrating OS/400 spoolfiles, Windows documents (DWG, DOC, XLS, PDF, TXT, TIF, etc), Linux and other sources. Originally developed for a World 100 manufacturing company. Uses standard PCs and laser printers. Numerous processing options. More functional than traditional dedicated AutoCAD print server systems costing $20,000-40,000 or even more. Can be customized (by user or by us) to meet almost any special need. - FORMagic/400 PDF File Creator and Forms Manager:Quickly and easily create PDF files, with or without forms, from spoolfiles generated by almost any AS/400 application. Different forms can even be used on different pages. No HLL programming changes required! Use any PC package to design forms. Details and Downloads
- FORMagic/PDF Windows Form Creator and Merger: Quickly and easily create PDF files with embedded forms. Currently available as a pre-release version, but there are no known problems. Forms are made on a Windows workstation; a separate Windows process creates PDF files at run-time, with optional embedded forms, from text files generated by other applications. The optional Host Automation feature provides support to check a folder periodically for incoming print files and invoke the run-time generation and merge process, thus offering fully unattended processing with minimal or no changes to existing applications. - FORMagic/Windows Forms Overlay Manager: Includes the same electronic forms generation client provided with FORMagic/400, but no AS/400 host component. For Windows and DOS applications using HP-compatible PCL 5e laser printers for output. You must have a means for inserting merge commands into the printer output stream. Details and Downloads
- FORMagic/Host Developer Kit: Includes the same electronic forms generation client provided with FORMagic/400. Instead of the AS/400 host component, we provide a facility which allows forms to be distributed for use on almost any host platform, including Windows, DOS, Unix, Linux, AIX, Sun, DEC, HP, even IBM mainframes. - FORMagic/Windows Developer Kit: Same as FORMagic/Windows, but a DLL is included for integration into Windows applications using electronic forms. Details and Downloads
- FORMagic/Merge Application Controller: Provides facilities for a user to merge forms into and print previously created printfiles of various types. Forms must be created with one of the FORMagic client systems. Details and Downloads
- FORMagic/Poller Application Controller: Provides facilities to monitor a Windows folder for the arrival of files and automate subsequent processing of each. Forms can be merged into printfiles and other functions can be automated. Especially useful for integrating host and network processes; ie, the printing of complete manufacturing order packages with BMs from the host and drawing sets from AutoCad and other network applications. Eliminates the need for expensive, dedicated print servers, such as Plotworks and Oce', for printing AutoCAD DWG files. Processing for each file type is controlled by table facilities. Forms, if used, must be created with one of the FORMagic client systems. Details and Downloads
- FontMagic/400 Font Manager: All the popular barcodes, Postal, OCR, and MICR fonts for checks, mailings, labels, turnaround documents, archive indexing, and many special applications! Ideal for use with FORMagic/400, but great for standalone usage too. Intended for HP LaserJet 4 and above or compatible printers supporting TrueType scalable fonts, but we can supply some fonts in fixed pitch sizes for use with older printers. We can also integrate the FontMagic fonts in most custom PC applications. Details and Downloads
- ProSign/400 SignOn Display Manager: Create highly customized signon screens with colors, logos, dynamic messages, and more. Change messages interactively or via program API at any time, while subsystems are active! Details and Downloads
- ShopCom/400 ASCII Connection Manager: Connect asynchronous ASCII devices, such as scales, timeclocks, sensors, laboratory instruments, DEC/HP/UNIX computers, and others, to an AS/400. Please call to discuss your application.
- FAMES (Factory Automated Marketing and Engineering System): Windows-based product configuration software can be customized for the most complex product lines. When your ERP configurator just can't handle your products the way you need, use FAMES for generating prices, configurations, layouts, BMs, and special outputs, and feeding other systems with detailed data for the most complex, highly engineered products. AS/400 Special Printing Service:
For a flat fee, generally only $300 with guaranteed results, the Special Printing Service provides access to sophisticated features in HP and compatible PCL-based printers not usually accessible to AS/400 applications. Special IPDS printers and AFP software are not required! Almost any special printing need can be quickly met. For example, within a single print file, you can use and vary as needed, even within individual pages, such printing attributes as:
- Font typeface family (Courier, Arial, Times Roman, etc)
- Font style and weight (regular, bold, italic, etc)
- Character sizes (including very large sizes)
- Special inter-character spacing
- Special character positioning (anywhere on page)
- LPI and CPI (including special settings and half lines)
- Portrait, landscape, and reversed page orientation
- Underlining
- Page copies
- Input and output bins
- Duplexing on/off and direct page side selection
- Special margins
- Registration of print data on the page
- Normal, sideways, and upside down print direction
- Alternate symbol sets (for special characters)
- Draw lines and rectangles, with optional fill
- Physical page size
- Output offsetting (jogging)

The Special Printing Service provides a complete solution for user developers to modify the AS/400 application including:
- A no-obligation discussion of the special application needs to verify they can be met with PCL-based printers and the Special Printing Service.
- Determination of the special PCL printer commands required to meet the application need.
- PC-based utility for pre-viewing, demonstrating, testing, and debugging the special PCL printer commands to insure they provide the required function. Experimental tweaking of these commands, directly by the user application developer to fine-tune results, is also supported.
- Documentation and support for the special techniques required to add perfected PCL commands into the host application.
- General support during implementation until the special function is operating as needed.
The Special Printing Service is intended for applications requiring a limited number of special PCL commands. Applications requiring more extensive support can be accommodated on a special quote basis.
